Magatama/Maya Fey-Inspired Jewelry Set

This jewelry set is a by-product of when I do full costumes of something - I make some smaller, mini-version of it that I could more easily wear everywhere than the original costume. This not only gives me something subtly nerdy that I can wear with my normal, non-costume clothing, but also gives me a practice run when I do the actual costume.

This is a deviation off of Maya Fey, form Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney's necklace. I extended it with wooden beads to give the more natural look, covered wooden beads with a pearl-like polymer clay, and painted the purple beads. I added a similar design to the earrings. The Magatamas were shaped polymer clay with aluminum foil inside to make it lighter than an all-polymer piece. The clasp is magnetic so it is secure and easy to unclasp.
